how do you tell the diameter of a cold air intake filter?

hey i have a volant air intake on my s10 and im looking for a replacement filter but can figure out the diameter do i measure across where the filter slips on? and yes i know i can order straight from them but its about triple the price of other filters.

Why are you getting another filter? Usually the reason to get one of these systems is because they are a permanent replacement. You should only have to wash the filter and re-oil. Unless you damaged the filter, it should never have to be replaced again.
