Porsche 944 missing part?what is it?

i have a 1984 Porsche 944 and i was looking at the engine yesterday and i found wiring that looks like there should be a part that plugs in i have no idea what it could be.can you help?it is a circle with 4 holes on the bottom going i a half circle and

Its probably some sort of diagnostic port.
