I always hear people complain about the Yankee payroll. Why is this even a factor? Here is the deal. George has said many times, "The sole mission of this team is to win championships." No, we don't win every year, but we have won 26 World Series.
I completely agree. we live in a free market we should be able to spend what ever they whant. that's why i don't like the nfl.

Miller, Rutilla M.

MADISON - Rutilla M. Miller (nee Theis) passed away on Sunday,
Nov. 20, 2011, at All Saints Assisted Living.
Rutilla was born on April 20, 1919, in the town of Dane, the
daughter of Antonia and Nicholas Theis. She was one of eight
children raised by her widowed mother on a farm in the
Springfield-Lodi area. During her early school years, Ruth traveled
by horse and buggy to St. Martin's Catholic School in Martinsville.
Later, she moved to Maple Bluff to become a maid at the R. T
McGuire household, owner of the Simpson Department Store, where she
met her husband to be, the butler. Ruth married Max F. Miller on
Aug. 21, 1941. Together they raised seven children on Madison's
Eastside. Her sister, Francis, and son, Ronald lived with the
Miller's and were part of the family. Traveling became a yearly
activity, driving an Oldsmobile 98 throughout Wisconsin, South
Dakota, Wyoming, New York, Las Vegas, Florida, and Mexico. After 50
years, the children still love the idea of adventure and travel.
They were encouraged to do well in school and all were provided
with a college education. Ruth still found time to volunteer for
many years at Karmenta Nursing Home, Olbrich Botanical Gardens, and
the Catholic Social Services. Also, Ruth was a member of St. Dennis
Catholic Church and its Altar Society. She was a member of the
Elk's Club, and the Eastside Businessmen's Club.

Steven Louis was arrested after crashing through a gate and driving into the ocean during a high speed chase in Key West on Friday. He sat in the grey Oldsmobile until the water crept close to the roof before climbing out. He vomited a pasty,
Sure, the Oldsmobile Ninety Eight, Mercury Park Lane, Chrysler 300, and Buick Electra 225 were well-equipped and comfortable, but Cadillac, Lincoln and Chrysler Imperials were what luxury was all about. Foreign cars? Absurd.
A couple of years before, a fellow from St. Louis had pulled into a local filling station in a big Oldsmobile with a billy-goat strapped across the hood. No one told him what it was, and he got directions to the check station and left, with several
This move made him the sole owner of the company that sold Chevrolet, Buick, Oldsmobile, Pontiac and Cadillac automobiles. During the late 1980s and 90s, many changes were in store for the automotive retail scene in Lincoln and Logan County.
