I have a 2000 Jetta, I'm just wondering what's right price for getting its rear brake pads replaced (I've been ripped off before, so I like to get an idea what the average price would be).
What if I were to buy the brakes, but try to install them
Well..generally..VW parts are going to be more expensive than most other US brand vehicles.
A decent set of pads would run about $40....then just get someone else besides a dealer or a hi priced fix it shop to put them in.
