Recently, Ed and Cathy Daugherty announced they had sold the Monett Dairy Queen to the Grimes Family Partnership of Arkansas.
The Monett Dairy Queen was established in 1955. It was purchased by the Daughertys in 1995. According to Grimes Family Partnership, because Monett is the home of Jack Henry & Associates and because it has more than 4,000 daily commuting workers, it has created an environment for the Dairy Queen franchise "to be the stomping ground for many Missourians over the years."
Bryan J. Burns has relocated to Monett and will be the Grimes Family DQ, LLC manager in Monett.
