does it matter the age to change the babys car seat?

mt baby is bout to be ten months but his baby car seat is gettn a little to small for him. hes tight in it very uncomfortable. he weights about 28 pds very tall so his feet really stick out bad... lol! can i move him to the bigger car seat already??

Not legally!

Yes you can move him...BUT that could KILL him, if heaven forbid there was an accident.

Standard is 12 months AND 20lbs.

They are now saying keep them in rear facing seats till age 4, because
