That was beautiful! I wish I could write with such sophistication and detail. Your writing is so.......so, I can't even explain it. It gives me such a feeling that I don't have the words to explain the feeling. When I read your story I was on the edge,

After running out to make a delivery, the as-yet unidentified mailman returns to the car park to discover his vehicle has tried to make a break for it. Attempting to leap inside the vehicle once more, the postie gets clipped by his own van and bounces onto the tarmac.
