Dynamics Question (Acceleration of a block and pulley)?

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone could give me a hand with the following question;

Block A is attatched to mass C by a light, inextensible cable which runs over a pulley B. The mass of block A is 500kg and the mass of C is 200kg.

The question does not say whether the masses are hanging vertically. The fact that a horizontal surface and a coefficient of friction are mentioned suggests they are not. The situation is inadequately described for any answer other than (e) to be giv

synthetic winch cable under tension cool sound

i set my camera on the cable and it picked up the cool noise of the cable under tension, it sounded metalic and had an echo cool sound!
