Symptoms for a Faulty Ignition Coil?

Citroen C3, just replaced spark plugs.. still have same problem as before...
idle sounds low and choppy.. revs sound irradic. high rpm needed to pull away.. big loss of power and stalling every now and again..... help?

You didn't mention the year. A faulty coil would cause a misfire in one or more cylinders and activate the CEL. One main symptom would be the catalytic converter getting "red" hot from raw fuel burning in it.

Is the CEL on? If
